Found a reasonably good oil at Northern for 7.99 a gallon it seems to work fine. BTW Think about this: bar oil is between $6.00 and $14.00 a gallon. Beer is between $10.00 and $30.00 a gallon, which do you use more of. :givebeer:

Learned how to run a saw before brakes, but now I always set the break if I move with the saw. If I set it down I shut it off. This seems to work well even if it means starting often.

For cleaning the bar and other areas that collect gunk I carry a small glazing knife (one of those putty knives that have all the curves and points on it) that and a good flat file is all you really need in the field.

Where do you get one I want to hang it from my rear view mirror. :biggrinbounce2: :rolleyes:

Update Checked out saw over weekend, removed bar and found out that the oil pump was pumping when at idle, I turned down the oil flow valve still pumping. Took saw to the dealer and they worked some magic on it and now it is not pumping large quantities of oil at idle. I do not know what they...

It's not really that bad you know how things grow here, but sitting on the patio at idle with an occasional blip did leave a rather large puddle.
