    Ash Buckets

I've been using that for a few years and the stickers are still like new. Also use a 20~ gallon can with lid, about 6 of so years old. Fill one and then the other. When they are both full I dump the first one. Fill it again and dump the second one. Gives plenty of time for the ashes to die off.

    Iowa 2015 Fall GTG (October 17, 2015)

Thinking about it, but iffy at best. Sounds like a good time. If I do come, it would just be for Saturday.

How many people burn wood do you think??

Not a lot of wood stacks around here. I keep one neighbor in wood, but don't see very many stacks around town, but I know there are some.

    Iowa 2015 Fall GTG (October 17, 2015)

Never been to a GTG, but just may have to think about this. A little 2 hours out is not bad. I may be able to come up with a couple donations to give away.

Hopefully I can do some scrounging now...

That's a great looking truck. Now look for one all beat up so you can throw the wood in it and not worry.

Now I just have all the bark and scraps to cleanup, sort through the leftover pallets and plant some grass. The stack along the north property line is for a neighbor. Hope to be at the magic 3 year plan for myself.

Need help picking a new wood stove

If Menards is available, you could look at them. Here would be one option for a little over $700 shipped to store. http://www.menards.com/main/heating-cooling/stoves-add-on-furnaces/wood-stoves/myriad-epa-wood-stove-with-blower/p-1696718-c-6884.htm Here would be a bigger unit for $1,300...

What's all that white stuff? Nice stack and equipment. My buddy has 2 IH 686 tractors and they come in very handy.
