If you care to share more about the 400, just curious.
It seems the 462 is just as close in weight .. however, the local dealer, without going into detail, was just as impressed.
Thank you.
.063
I was really impressed, sounds good .. it was just strange having a relatively light saw 'c that much power.
Does anyone know if the Fallers in BC are using these?
Thank you.
Finally used, Love the saw.
It is a little strange, power to weight. Really narrow powerband, but for the love of god.
28" Duralite, semi-skip, square ground .. in Silver Maple. Ripping, etc ...
amazing machine.
from a predominate Husqvarna Fan ...
Same ole ..
The 462's weight though!. The 500, I was allegedly 2nd on a year & a half wait list. Went up to kindly say No Thanks, & ended up taking it. The scalp prices on Ebay were/are degrading. Some one had 288xp's for sale on Ebay...
I didn't really have too & was on the fence?!? They just were taking up room, never being used and it sorta ran it's course. A young guy pulled a 14 hour round trip to take everything, $5500 cash. ?idk, went to a good home.
I preferred Husqvarna. That 461 left an impression on me however, so tried the 462. Apparently I was 2nd on a year & a half wait list for the 500. I kindly went to say thank you but no thanks .. looked at it & caved, they were hard to find? .. the 462 "generally speaking" is just light.
I used to collect. Obsessed from an adolescent stuck in the city, I finally closed a chapter when I moved to the north woods. I studied & followed the BC standard training, etc for years & give anyone in the Industry a Lot of Credit. Sold it all for a fraction as they were not in use. Some never...
I'll give credit to Stihl, power to weight .. still dig the older Husqvarna's.
There's too much dirt bike tech going into saws these days, skid plate, etc, ... ; Jesus. lol
Anyone see Husqvarna's 90cc's yet???
The clutch cover, roller & spikes are on back order still & I don't care, however ..
Does anyone know what 5 point "ProSafety" by Irvin Ritola will fit on this saw in the event?
Many Thanks.
P.s. .. I had no intention on buying this. I was allegedly 2nd on a wait list for well over a year, went up to see it & kindly say no thanks .. then decided why not.?
idk.
Those spikes have to go, Cannon's a bit heavy, balances on this saw a bit better. Have 2 loops of semi-skip for the 28 ...
