Cool. Looks like a job well done. What will you use the timber for? I only cut for firewood although me cousin is building a mill for his 880 that could change all that.

    Not a saw...

I don't think so, in the next week while I'm at work I have some tweeters for my HiFi coming and also a torque wrench (not for the HIFi) The mailbox will be full and the Mastercard empty.:)

    Almost new Stihl 090

What prices did the big saws go for. I wished for a moment that i wasn't in the West. But that feeling quickly passed. I reckon tassie would be pretty cold at this time of year.

Muddy the car looks good finished. I clean forgot about your project, it's been a while since i visited here. I'm not sure what kind of weight you want to lug around but Stihl MS660 claims leading class power to weight. Don't quote me exactly but 7hp and 7.5kg rings a bell. Theres sure to be...

What is your dream old saw?

I think an 090av would be the ducks nuts. I went out with the FIL last week and was going to give my 660 a rest and use his 090. Damn thing refused to start for me and when the FIL gave it a go it still wouldn't start. This was the first time ever apparently. I think I may have to buy my own

    This is my old girl.

I hate thieves. Death to them all. On a brighter note well done with the new one. $4400 seems like a fair price.

Thinking of defecting to the dark (dork) side.

    :agree2: I love a 60 cc saw but... Since I got the 660 I don't use anything else.

    Packard Marine Engine

This http://www.rodshop.com.au/project55.htm is worth a look. Guy in Australia puts a Merlin in a 55 Chev and gets it licenced for the road. I have seen this car in the metal and seen it run, that was somethhing to behold. I saw a 12 page (or half the mag from memory) article in Crusin'...

    Something Different

Close but no cigar. Its an HSV Senator 1996. Made by Holden, it shares a lot of stuff with the Commodore. All the HSV gear is driveline, interior, body kit. 5.7 litre injected V8, 6 spd, independant LSD rear.

    Something different....yeah!

I enjoy the updates and like seeing other peoples hobbies. I wish mine were as productive. Keep up the good work.
