    McCulloch Chain Saws

Not all 10-10s were created equal. Yes some will pull chain on a 28" bar easily in wood such as pine. I was given an old beater 10-10 that was wearing a 28" bar, I was skeptical and gave the old thing a try. It did well enough to leave that bar on it.

Saw fires & yanks starter handle out of my hand. Why?

I remember being handed a Super 250 and being told to pull the starter rope "like a man" Yeah, you did or the saw would punish you.

    Dangerous Tree Comes Down

I love reading this kind of stuff. This one wasn't as bad as some, the chest thumping "I'm a badass with a chainsaw" self congratulatory video, with HBNR adroitness, just kill me. Then when someone who actually knows what they are talking about, cuts in among the backslappers and adds a few...

    Got me a big saw!

Yeah, I had to check it out too. My first saw was an 036, it seemed plenty big, until I needed something with more reach. I asked my uncle about borrowing one of his. He asked to see the 036 first, he gave it a quick look and said that I knew how to take care of a saw, so yeah he gave me a...

I was afraid you would say that, I did give it some thought and your reply gives me the answer. As always you will do as you see fit, since there is nobody to tell you not to.

    What model mcculloch??

Doing good, saw the parents over the 4th, some things never change. I did find what you were asking for, is it too much to ask why?

    Randymac..........

I talked to Randy today, he can be a tough one to read, even in person. I think he is okay, busy with stuff. I met his brother twice, while they are twins, you could easily tell one from the other, they took different life paths, it showed. I know my uncle some, but I haven't gone enough...

Using a chainsaw isn't as easy as I thought.

I was very fortunate to learn from a seasoned faller, it definitely flattened the learning curve.

Ok, talk to you then. BTW, I cleared a large amount of crap out your computer, it probably works better now.
