    372 xp

I bought my 372xp brand new from my local hardware store. I bought through him as he always supports our local team sports for my kids and I appreciate that. Anyway, I bought it I believe 10-12 years ago when there was word that they were going to stop making this "legend" of a saw so I...

My 3 yr old Husky 372xp is dead HELP!

Basically the same symptoms I am having. Mine is the original blue as well, my sparks with my plug out of my cylinder too but I have my doubts when it's installed. Some seem to think that I SUDDENLY just need to change the way I have always started it (ie..no choke) and don't get me wrong, I...

My 3 yr old Husky 372xp is dead HELP!

OK, I dried out the saw completely....pulled the plug, pulled it over numerous times, let it sit over night with the plug out at BDC. Reinstalled the plug and went through the starting sequence and no fire on more than 30 pulls on a saw that was until SUDDENLY a 1-2 puller. It was after this...

My 3 yr old Husky 372xp is dead HELP!

Prob was wet, but it's sat for 2 weeks now and its completely dry. Put the gas in the carb and no pop, put it directly in the cylinder and still nothing. I actually hit it with some starting fluid last night and still nothing... I am leaning toward ignition???? Although it has spark, is it...

My 3 yr old Husky 372xp is dead HELP!

I never thought a saw of this quality would ever give me this kind of trouble. 2 weeks ago, my brother was running my 3 yr old 372xp and I was there.... The chain looked a bit dull so I had him stop and told him where the sharp chains were and had him throw a new one on. He did just that...
