    Electric saw question

Anyone have experience with the 60 volt models? Will they cut something with a diameter equal to the bar length, or do they get bogged down? Are they a legitimate replacement for a gas saw of the same size? (homeowner use, not professional,

just got 40 blue spruces in ohio. What should I do

I was thinking of burying like a 1.5 - 2 foot long piece of 4" corrugated drain pipe with each one to pour full of water to water them down in the roots so I don't loose much water on the surface. Any thoughts on this or other ways to water.

just got 40 blue spruces in ohio. What should I do

I guess I was thinking I could put them all in a couple of baby pools or somethings then the neighbor could water them. I thought it would be easier if they were in one central place

    stacking rack ideas

Thanks guys, I like the steel pipes and the 2 x 4 ideas. I will get to work tonight on something. The underneath of the roof is covered with like soffit type stuff so I would like to not drill through it. by mounting to the roof. Plus I want to disassmble the whole thing at the end of the...

    stacking rack ideas

I stack my firewood on the front porch three rows deep on either side of the front door. It is a covered concrete porch. In order to keep the pile up I need some way to support the ends of each stack. Any ideas like building something out of 2x4's? I see Baileys has some plastic things that 2...

My latest Craigslist score (Englander 24 JC)

Yeah, it ain't pretty, that's for sure. Doesn't look too bad inside, had a partially burned log inside, I am sure as soon as the plastic melted, they put it out. It's going in the barn/shop, so I don't care. Might put a piece of steel in where the glass goes, but will probably break down and...

I am not sure if it is latex or oil. Does paint remover work on latex? Was thinking of hitting it with a rosebud on the Oxy/Acetylene

My latest Craigslist score (Englander 24 JC)

It came from a rental property, if you look at the sides, they were Spackled into the fireplace opening as well. I am trying to figure out how to get the paint off? Maybe build a hot fire in it sitting outside and see if it flakes off. I will have to fix the outlet as well.

    Wood-1 me-0

My buddy had an old splitter with a wedge on the bottom and got a piece stuck on the wedge with the ram bottomed out. So he decided to put another piece in to try to get it off, they both blew out of there (right where the 2 pieces met) like an explosion. Hit him in the face and broke his nose

My latest Craigslist score (Englander 24 JC)

Only paid $80 for it. Planning on putting it in my barn/garage. Probably have too get the paint off of it, any suggestions? Also someone scabbed on an adjustable elbow and welded it, I am going to remove that crap and fix it. Can you weld this? Is is just plain steel? Itis a shame the ruined...
