Want to Sell North Star Log Splitter 30 ton $1500 obo

LIKE NEW North Star 30 ton log splitter. Powered by a 5 hp Honda engine. Bought brand-new two years ago for $2200, it is in like new condition, it would not be an exaggeration to say that it has less than 15 hours on it. Runs and looks perfect, stored inside. Can we use vertically or...

    Husky 36 problems

Well I checked the fuel line and it wasn't kinked, and I pulled the intake boot off and cleaned the impulse line and grommet. I opened the high and low screws up to 1 1/2 turns and it will start and run at a really high idle but it still wants to fall on it's face when I open up the throttle...

    Husky 36 problems

Ok here's the deal: I have a Husky 36 that I was using a year ago and it started leaking fuel and quit running. Got it home and found that the fuel line had rotted apart. I replaced the line and rebuilt the carb (fuel went bad while it was sitting.). Got it back together and it won't run...

    Big Homelite ignition troubles ?

I just fixed a little Homie for my neighbor the other day that was doing the exact same thing. I checked for spark and it was fine. I fiddled around with a for a while and decided to put a new plug in it anyway. It started right up and ran great after that.

    chineese saws

I bought my daughter one of the "better" Chinese ATV's and it is JUNK. The problem is that when you first look at them they look great. After the first ride the headlights fell out and the motor won't hardly run. So... while those saws look good, I'll be willing to bet that they are junk.

    Ottawa Buzz Master?

I don't have anything going today so I'm going to go and look at it and so how big it really is. Storage is somewhat of a problem for me and it looks like it will take up quite a bit of space for a conversation piece. I don't think that I would ever use it because I'd probably get myself...

    Ottawa Buzz Master?

Has anyone ever seen one of these? I looks kind of neat but extremely dangerous. Anyway, this is right by me and I was going to go and look at it tomorrow. I could probably get it for $50. http://stlouis.craigslist.org/grd/1389460641.html

    Shelf Life for Sta-Bil?

I had a big bottle for a couple of years and then I noticed what looked like some large flakes of paper floating in it. I called the company and they said that they have had that happen when their product began to get older.

Anyone use SeaFoam with their saws

I switched to Sea Foam when I had some problems with Sta-bil. I bought a big bottle of it to winterize all of my equipment one year and then the next winter I went to use it again and found some stuff(?) floating in it. It looked like flakes of paper, I e-mailed Sta-bil and they told me that...

    Poulan 3400 crank seals

I'm looking for a fuel tank for a 3400, mine has a split in it. Looked around and all I can find is that it is discontinued. Do you still have the fuel tank? Let me know. Thanks, Jason

    eBAY BARGAIN!!!

I have a couple of those old David Bradleys (one for parts). I didn't realize that they were relatively common. Both of mine are a cream color with a burgandy trim. I can attest to how heavy they are though, I thought it would be fun to cut some wood with it one day. Yeah right, that bad...

    Jonsered 910 E saws

Ray, Do you have any idea of how many lbs. of compression your saw has? I was planning on bringing my tester with me to check it on these saws. They look to pretty well used. Also will it run a 36" bar O.K.? Thanks, Jason

Does anyone else have any info on these saws such as engine size?

    Jonsered 910 E saws

I've got a quick question for you Jonsered guys. I have a chance to buy (2) Jonsered 910 E saws for $200. One is in good shape and the other runs but has been used to take parts from. I don't really know much about Jonsereds so I guess what I'm asking is if they are worth $200 or so. I don't...

Would you repair an Exhaust Stud With JB Weld?

I've used JB Weld on muffler studs several times on trimmers and chainsaws and it always works. Just try to force some of the JB into the crack and then some around the threads of the screw that you are going to use, screw it in the stud, and then, if possible put a pair of needle-nose vise...

    Who's modified a 359 Husky?

I think some of you guys will appreciate this story: I walked into Lowe's the other day (to buy some wood trim) and as I was walking by the outdoor section I see an employee moving around this 359 leaking fuel everywhere. I asked what the story was and he told me that someone had just...

    Used MS460 value ??

Mike, I see that you live in Old Monroe, I live in Moscow Mills. Who has the saws that you're talking about? I would be interested in the 660, depending on price of course, plus you wouldn't have to worry about shipping it. Jason

    David Bradley fuel cap

Mike, How long is the bar on your DB? I believe mine is an original also. Does yours run? Mine runs but I really haven't used it much, it's REAL loud and HEAVY! I haven't heard of any other units other than the two that I have, I really don't know much about them, if you know any history or...
