hi, ive got an issue that ive never come across before. I have a 272xp that ive rebuild and when i try to start it it may run for a few sec and then "pop" exhaust out the air filter and die. anyone ever had this to happen? Thanks

Hi, ive searched for 038 and i am still confused. How many different 038 are there? ive seen info on an 038, 038AV,038AVS, 038 Farmboss, 038 super, 038 super 2, 038 magnum, 038 magnum 2. ive seen 3 different sizes. 48mm, 50mm, 52mm. Whats the deal on the 038? Pics would be helpfull also. Thanks

The one I bought had no covers on it. I want to label it correctly when I finish it. Someone had mentioned Piston porting could be a difference. (I don’t know what piston porting is YET) can anyone tell what mine is from the pic of the cylinder and piston?

I bought some Crankshaft bearings for a TS350 im working on and they are sealed bearings. I know I need to take out the inside seal for lubrication but do I really need to take off the outer seal? Will I get any more leak protection if I leave it or could it cause problems down the road? Also...

ok, Thanks to 2000ssm6 I now have a workshop manual for the TS350 BUT looks like Stihl decided to split up the info for this saw by putting some stuff just for the TS350 in its manual and the other stuff you have to get out of the 08 S Manual so now I need a workshop manual for an 08 S. Thanks
