Need help with 372 x torq crank

Yes sir. I was going to recommend HLsupply but that is where this one is coming from.

Need help with 372 x torq crank

+1 on the Husqvarna crank tool. Less than $50 and you can put the crank right where you want it with no hammering.

    Why I Keep Going BACK To the 70cc - 20inch B&C Concept.

Mr. Walter always does an excellent common sense approach with his content. While it may be apples to oranges, look at the Timbersports Stock Saw combination for x number of years....

Carrying a spare clutch cover nut?

While extra parts are great and metal detectors are too, a strong magnet works on anything magnetic without batteries or electronics and covers the vast array of lost steel in the woods....

    More oil please (MS362)

The short answer is yes. My apologies if I pushed it "off the rails". The discourse in the video explains the differences in the control bolts.

    More oil please (MS362)

One more comment and I will go away, even with the upgraded oiler, they all pump the same at the lowest setting. So don't think if you do this you are creating something uncontrollable. I have this oiler on a 361 clone and turn it down when using a 20" guide bar.

    More oil please (MS362)

All the information thus far is very good. I have learned a massive amount from member Wind Thrown, and others who are no longer with us. I put a video together sometime back with the information I learned here. Although the 361 will occasionally pull a bar longer than 28", if you're doing this...

If you search the new part number here, it seems to be a modified 441 cover adapted to fit the 661.

    Stihl 361 Clutch Drum problem

In the posted pictures the drum is a spur type. Is this OEM, I zoomed and can only see 3/8 zZ. If that drum is aftermarket, they are notorious for being out of dimension and out of round. And yes, do install the clutch scatter shield sometimes called a washer.

    Stihl 038AV

The 038 has 62cc, the 038 super had 66cc and the 038 magnum was 72cc. The piston and cylinder on the magnum will not fit the other two models the crankcase and cylinders are exclusive to the magnum.

    Swapping Oil Pump pistons

Not to my knowledge. While not an expert I have handled everything you spoke of profusely. (Lots).

    262xp vs 266xp

Stock for stock having owned and used multiple 262, 266 saws the 266 has more low-end torque. Tbe 262 was spring mounted the 266 was not. As has been mentioned the 266 uses the larger mount.

    Hutzl Stihl ms440/044 crankcases

Loc-tite the alignment pins, they have been known to walk or be loose and possibly fall out causing other problems.
