    well im sure your are going to find out when you buck and split it .I have always bucked and stacked mine till i have enough to spend a day splitting it. last year i had four cord bucked that split and stacked into about five cord....so the best advise i have is git er done and see what you have

    How much wood?

    I went with a husky 359 and love it. I got it at chainsaws unlimited on main st south across from p.e.s. I started out with a cheap saw from home depot. Bad mistake dont do that. stihl or husquavarna is definatly the way to go

    i had about a cord of it this year and it really burned great, very hot. not quit the burn time of of some other wood i came across(white oak) but i also found it to season pretty quick too. Would love to get my hands on some more

    firewood in log lengths

    call your local tree companys sometimes you can get a pretty good deal triaxel load (6-7)cord for 500-700 depending on the guy and the wood sometimes even better if you find the right deal.

    less than a cord left now. super dry. i find myself burning it only at night. Heats great. I would say definitly a great wood wish i could find some more. had a big red oak come down at the neighbors workin on getting that split for next year now
