    HT75 Not Getting Fuel

New carb installed and all is well now. Thanks again. Cost 18 bucks. Surprised at how cheap it was, and this was a kit with carb, sparkplug, fuel line, gaskets, filters, and grommets for the tank. Thanks, Chris

    HT75 Not Getting Fuel

I have pulled a while on it but no gas fills the primer bulb and it doesn't start. I believe I left some gas in it when I stored it last, but is was empty when I pulled it out. Thanks, Chris

    HT75 Not Getting Fuel

I have an HT75 which I put a new carb on a couple of years ago. I don't use it that often and when I went to start it last week, I found that the primer bulb would not pick up any fuel. I pulled the primer bulb off, and it looks new, the diaphragm looks OK also. I do hear a little squeaks when I...

Re-decking my equipment trailer. Some questions...

White oak is a great choice for its toughness and tight cell structure, at least that's what I was told. The tight cell structure makes it the best choice for longevity of decking. I redecked my GN with this several years ago. I was fortunate that I cut several white oaks down on a job and got...

Info for 9 hp Briggs and Stratton?

I need torque specs for a 2008, 9 hp Briggs and Stratton engine on a leaf vacuum, 122032-0147-B8. I need the connecting rod cap torque, the head bolt torque, the bore specs and piston specs. This thing is burning oil like crazy yet to has 110 lbs of compression and runs nice. I just pulled it...

    vermeer 600 won't keep up

I'd be looking at the fuel filter first, and maybe the fuel pump, then the governor. It sounds like it isn't getting enough fuel when it counts (under load), for one of those reasons. Chris

    HT75 Oiler Troubleshooting

My HT75 only dribbles oil out, with bar off the saw. The bar and chain stay pretty dry when they are on the saw. I pulled it apart and found a little bit of crud in the passage from the oil tank to the gear box, but not enough to block it off completely. I am trying to get into the oiler but...

    The Beg for Manuals Thread

I am looking for parts manuals and service manuals for Stihl HT75 pole saw and a Stihl FS90AV trimmer. The parts manuals are more important. Thanks, Chris

    Full skip chain???

Nah, I never videoed it. I'll have to see what I have around to cut up. I think have some old dried hardwood out there in the field. That'll give it a run for its money. I'll have to see what the chain looks like on it tomorrow. Saw been sitting in the shed since I gave up tree work. Chris

    032AV Fuel Problem

10-4, on the kit. Is there anything else that should be checked while I am in there,or am I doing everything that can be done? Chris

    Full skip chain???

It has actually been a great fit for that saw. With the skip chain it cuts quick and the saw does not seem to be laboring to pull the chain, no matter how big a log. The 36" on my 3120XP seems too small, but that thing sure burns through the wood. It has a ripping chain, where the previous owner...

    032AV Fuel Problem

OK, so what else do I need to do when going though the carb? I pulled it apart and squirted carb cleaner through every hole I could find and made sure it came out someplace else, and the same for the adjustment screws. I'm not sure what else I can do in there. Thanks, Chris

    Full skip chain???

I ran a half skip on my stock 290 once. It cut good but it seems like the saw had a hard time pulling it. I don't think I have had anything but full skip on my 372XP with 38" bar, ever. Man that thing can cut some wood. :D Chris

    032AV Fuel Problem

Dad's 032AV has a fuel problem. I can start it on choke and can open the choke part way while hold it at full throttle but it eventually acts like it runs out of fuel if I have the choke half, or more, open. It starts right back up though, with the choke half on, and proceeds to "run out of...

What's the deal with non saftey chains

My understanding is: If it ain't a safety chain it's a regular chain. The safety chains were invented to reduce/prevent kick back to keep from killing novice chainsaw users that don't know how to operate a saw. These safety chains have extra teeth between the cutting teeth and have a stepped...

    Rust remover with electrolysis?

Yes, been there, done that, with 5 gallon bucket, rebar, and a trickle charger. The only thing I have ever done was an old rusty pair of pliers that were frozen when I started, and a couple of pieces of rusty metal I found in the yard. It took more than a couple of hours, but it did remove the...
