    Didn't go south this year, not much saw work this year so i closed my shop and ben cutting fire wood ,wife works days so hard to catch me home. saw work starting to pick up now that winter is over[ go figure]???

    I replaced clutch on this mans 700 mac was was broken in three places ,looked like impac wrench damage to me but he said no way. Replaced the clutch he returned a couple of days later said clutch nut keeps spinning off, i put new oe nut on it and under a load it spunn off .shaft is not striped...

    I have a 7 hp snow blower with a 110v ele starter just like a car works off of teeth on fly wheel don't know why smaller version on chain saw wouldn't work....

    The first easy start was a sears push mower, you wound a crank on top the motor then pushed a button to relase a spring starter...

    wood ash uses

    I use a home made hot pepper spray for squash bugs Dry pepers in the sun grind up with food prosser into powder,use two cups per gallon shake up each day for three days spray on plants after due is off in the morning spray about every ten days.....have done this for twenty years....

    ashes Ashes have alot of potash i put mine where i plant my potatoes and i have large potatoes. don't go over bord they do have lime also....

    Making saw chains and selling them

    I made a little money in my shop sharpening and selling chains till the local farm store and wally world started selling chinese bars and chains.. the chink chains will burn up in the grinder when you try to sharpen them... closed my shop about a month ago....

    7 saws Two of each, 55 ranchers,makita 540s,echo 280es one sears [ poulan ] 3.3 7 in all,all are good runners....

    New ECHO (And Shindaiwa) Chainsaws

    In my 70 years of life i have ran about every brand of saw there is,some are fast some are slow and some are total junk... I have ran and owned several echos they are not the fastest saw out there, but they start the best and last the longest. i don't bash any brand, you get what you pay for...

    Rep I want to thank everyone for the much needed rep you sent..great bunch of people on here, even tho i have my own saw shop i have learned a great deal of short cuts on this site that saves a lot of time fixing saws..:D:D
