Start with a wild thing piston.HaHaHa,build it like its your own it will run,the rest of them do.Exept that piece of junk 045,066,288,did I miss anything, didint johnny cash write a song about that???:)
Wow you got a good problem to have. It's a win win situation both saws are legendary cause they seem to last forever.Good luck and let us know witch one you picked.
How about an 880 with a 144 inch bar then you don't have to get far from the house!!!!! Sorry just funnin.Any 60cc saw will work great for your needs.Get a pro saw if you can and you will be watching your grand kids using it and a sharp chain is the heart and soul of any saw.
I'm not sure of the year this saw came from a pawn shop and I can't read the number on it,didn't notice that for about a year or two.The cover just says 630,is it supposed to say " V " on it.
Nice saw looks just like mine.I was told the 2 ring models are pretty rare, that's what mine has in it,just ordered a new set.I also have the heated handles on mine and they work great.Love my Stihls butt have a real soft spot for my old jonny.
I guess I should have mentioned that I run a 36 on my 460 when I need to with a full skip chain. Its alittle bigger than a 372 but it works it pretty hard,I just keep the rpms in the sweet spot.
The real question would be how much bar can your oilier support?Really you can use a very large bar with light pressure or even holdin up on ot a bit.won't be very fast but it will do the job.
I talked to lastminute he said he is in! He has got a pretty bad 650 and a-- well you would have to see it to be leave it.I'll bring a big pan of BBQ made from wild elk and buns if you got a place to plug it in.My brother Jim will also be coming with a sweetazz 372,makes my stock 460 look pretty...
The first thing I learned about square chains is that they are more like a fine knife compared to a clever. The only real benefit I have seen is a full skip in very big wood.Stuff under 16 inches not much difference that I can tell.I can tell you as most that use them a lot can also tell you the...
Ya wish it was that easy with everything! If the above doesn't work you could hit it with a hammer after dark then haul it to opps never mind.Just paint it green and keep pulllion!!!
I would mix up some fresh fuel, none ethenol, pull your plug pull the saw over a crap load of times to air it out a little, drop in a new plug then give it a go.When you first try to start it no choke, set the throttle at fast idle.If that doesn't work then choke it.
First does it have compression or good compression, second is your plug wet or dry?If the plug is dry no fuel, if its wet probably flooded have good comp, good spark, and fuel it should go bang.
