    homelite 7-29

Hi Folks, I got a Homelite 7-29 big boy. A friend was cleaning out a barn etc and now its in my hands. Fertilizer fell on the gas tank and handle and ate holes in both. Well, the bonus from that is the saw has low hours and good compression. I have not checked for spark yet. So, that said...

    homelite 350 pro carb work

Aw come on its not that hard to get that carb out. Its probably not drawing fuel due to a cracked impulse line or a old carb diaphram that is rigid and not moving. It should have a Walbro carb model HDC (two different carbs on this model) go here...

    OWB - Too efficient?

Keep the flue pipe clean! I read this thread again. Going back to the fire going out; make sure your flue is clean of creosote. Mine gets very clogged up with creosote during the milder weather months due to the fire smoldering. In this case the stove does not 'breathe' well since its...

    OWB - Too efficient?

mahoning coal use I would also like to mention how i use anthracite coal in my MOF. Generally, I don't use coal unless the outside air temp is expected to be below 20 degrees F. In my stove, if I use coal I will put a piece of wood on the left and right side of the fire box and put coal...

Pennsylvania OD wood stoves now regulated!!

The final cut? As I understand it, the Pennsylvania Environmental Quality Board was the agency that put this rule through to passage. There is a 129 page document available for reading. I did not figure out how to link it here. I read most of it and it is a big compromise from what they...

Pennsylvania OD wood stoves now regulated!!

I've been reading that PA is now regulated as far as outdoor wood furnaces are concerned. After May 31, if you live in PA you will not be able to buy or install a new ODW furnace that does not meet the white lable EPA standard. From what I read so far, installed users will be exempt from the...
