Best mod for that saw is Stihl 63PS chain.

Over a decade later, still works. Just measure around the outside for length of cut you prefer and mark. Cut the the ring off and shorten to your marks. Squeeze together, reduce the center to fit and epoxy. I used a large hose clamp to hold until set up.

Adjuster does not keep the bar tight, that would be the bar nuts.

Does it not have a Zama on it? You can replace the nozzle easily. under 10 bucks. Chainsawr has a used carb for 25.

Square has a far stronger working corner than round chisel.

You wouldn't like it with a finer grit. Much faster to burn. I have several from numerous manufacturers in 5 3/4 and 8" I like the Foley-Belsaw 60-80 grit the best.
