The Chinese are so good at copying a chainsaw! They made a copy of one that is not even made yet!:msp_thumbsup:

This is the Old edition! I might try to clean things up and put it back together as some have posted. It won't hurt to give it a try and see how she runs, with just a new ring and cleanup.:rock:

Any recommendations for an online dealer, to get the parts? Local dealer said $191 for the cylinder and piston kit, plus tax and some gaskets that are extra.

Here is another pic of the cylinder! I cannot see any name on the cylinder and only a "2" stamped down by the base flange. When I pulled the wrist pin out, one of the circlips didn't have the tab on the end. So, I'm thinking about ordering the OEM parts and put it together myself...

I bought a used 346XP about 2 years ago. Its been my go to saw a lot. It always starts and runs well. About a month ago, it started to have a high idle. I took the saw apart and found the impulse line cracked. I contemplated pulling the cylinder, to put the updated clamp on intake. I ended...

I would do a vacuum test and if there is another leak, find and fix it. I would then put a kit in carb. Does the spark look good? Hope you get it figured out. :msp_thumbup:

JSK! When did you buy this saw? Can you check on the auction # again. It doesn't seem to work. Did you leave him feedback on this saw?

I would think, it would work well. Just chain them down good to keep from rolling around, if your only hauling a few. They should slide right out and not hurt anything. Hope you have the tailgate that swings clear!

Do you really mean an acre of lawn? I think of a square meter, as 39 inches square or about 10 sq. feet. I would think it would take close to 2 hours to mow an acre with a 20 inch mower! If I was doing it, I would need from $30 to $40 per hour using my mower.

Here's a pic of my table! It works well for the wood I split. Just have to watch your fingers, when its sliding along.:) I never did measure it!

I found this in my dad's shed! Dont know where he got it! I think it is about a 1953 Titan Chainsaw. Here is a two person McCulloch chainsaw. I think from the late 40's.
