Wow. There is a lot of bs on this thread, just not where some think.. So. The saw had problems last night then seemed to correct itslef. This afternoon it would just bog down when I hit the gas, and I could not even limp it along. My dealer said origionaly he was going to replace the carb...

    562xp Pain in the ###

Ya know? I was pondering some of the same thoughts just this afternoon. Friday my dealer was all gungho about, "we will replace the carb and coil and if that doesnt work I will jump all over husky" (paraphrased) Today he had a different tune. "lets try the computer update befor we do anything...

    562xp Pain in the ###

I just got it back from the shop and am putting it through its paces. All Husky wanted to do was have my dealer update the saws computer. They said if the problems continue they would want to take it back to their R&D center and go over it. I told him they could do that all they wanted AFTER...

    Oh Mannnnn, It Never Stops

We have the same problem here. People from away move in and want to change EVERYTHING. Luckily the other day I had a chance to explain to a couple of laides some truths abouts forests/logging. Like: there are more forests than 100 years ago, when a tree dies it releases all the CO2 anyway, (so...

E free gas is available at any airport. It is more per gallon than 91 octane, but cheaper than the caned mix. Also it will last un mixed for years if properly stored. I run it in all my 2 stroke equipment. Ethanol-free gas stations in the U.S. and Canada

I think TK is an hour south of me. My dealer tends to be the tenacious type. I think he will get it working right. Thanks.

Thanks Spike. No failure codes. Im guessing he has already reset it, but I will ask. It has started on the first pull before. But the past couple of days is when it started doing this nonsense. My dealer is aware of everything ive experianced with the saw. Ive got a feeling hes going to...

    562xp Pain in the ###

In the begining I was hoping thats all it was. Even though there hasnt been any codes my dealer thinks we need to replace the carb and coil. I hope it all works out in the end, its a good cutting saw when it finally starts.

Very true. My 55 rancher has never given me any trouble. My 394 is old tired and half blind, but it usually starts with less persuasion.

What part of "following the instruction manual" didnt you get??? Its very easy (among other things) to sit at your computer and toss out random asertations. Ive talked to my dealer at length and he agrees I am doing everything correctly. So. What would you recomend I do differently???

My 562 was manufactured in 2013. When its running it cuts like crazy. Hard to bog it down really. like my OP said; most of these saw are good out of the box, mine just wasnt. But. My dealer is on my side and is determined to get to the bottom of it. I think there are bound to be ocasional...

Wow. This is what I love about this site. So much help and knowledge at your fingertips. Boxygen: Im near Jefferson. Hamish: On the serial number, do you mean starting with the date, or after the date? 201311 is with the date preceding. Spike60: My dealer mentioned replacing the coil and/or...

Hi Sunfish. I have tried the priming bulb, no priming bulb, high idle, no high idle, choke no choke etc. I seem to have the best luck with leaving the compression valve out, and engaging high idle. But today nothing seemed to work. I keept ending up having to start by holding the throttle on...

    562xp Pain in the ###

Last month I bought a 562xp AT. This saw was hard to hot start so I took it to the dealer and he found nothing. I changed how I was starting the saw, following the manual to a "T" and noticed some small improvement. Today it went back to hot hard starts. I seem to have some better luck when...
