    Husquvarna 394xp intake air leak.

Ok so I have been working on a 394 xp. It came in with a bog. Did all the easy stuff including a coil and didn’t fix it. I blocked everything off and did a pressure test. All seals passed but intake didn’t. I had bubbles. I pulled intake and found plastic cracked. Figured as it got warm it...

NWP shortblock ms 390 shearing flywheel key

Thank you for the replys. I can say that I have never used a impact wrench to tighten or remove any flywheel. I use rope in the jug and a ratchet wrench. As for the torque wrench I can honestly say I have never used one on any flywheels. I will clean up the shaft in the am and try to torque it...

NWP shortblock ms 390 shearing flywheel key

I installed a nwp 390 in a ms 310 case. I went to start start it and it bucked, it never did start. I took the flywheel off and the key was sheared. I thought it might have been cracked from when the ms 310 seized and i just missed. I replaced it with a new OEM flywheel and got it to start. It...

    insulating OWB lines

Not sure of your plumbing but if your DHW runs all the time to heat your tank in your house then thats a lot of BTU heating the ground. I use Logstore pex for my underground 150'.If I was to do it again I would use 1.25 pex and spray foam with closed cell foam. With 1.25 pex you can use a...

    insulating OWB lines

do you have 2 sets of pipes running in the ground? 1 for DHW and 1 for the HX? Why in the world would you change 1 set but keep heating the ground with the other? I would run 1 set new and switch to a DHW heat exchanger in your house. Just because you dont want your water any hotter...
