    hdpe gas tank

Hi Lawmart, Go to your local motorcycle shop and check out "Tank Cream" read and follow the instructions. This will seal anything, however, someone pulling/jerking on the fuel line down the road could open it up again.

Hi Everyone, What is you chain filing technique when you out in the woods and don't have a vise to chuck the saw in? I am looking for a better method. There must be a better way than my current method of kneeling behind the powerhead, bar against the base of a tree with the tip elevated.Any...

    Poulan Pro

Hi Barron, The Poulan pro (40cc) that you have oils thru the holes that are located on each side of the slot in the bar. Both holes are open to the groove that the chain ride in.This is so you can flip the bar when needed. Most saws have a seperate hole just for oiling,if you have the wrong...

STIHL MS 260 Pro or Husky 346xp

Be Careful or you will end up with several saws like many here have. The saws you mentioned are excellent in quality, however the engine size dictates how easy it will cut the big stuff .It sounds like you might be better served with a larger saw (60 -70 cc) with a 20" bar.

Bent Crank?? What did I do wrong?

Yes they should, but you know how that goes.Does your saw have a 3 piece crank?I would think so.Call around to the local bike shops and saw shops.Surely someone replaces rod bearings in 2 strokes. If they do,they have to be able to true the crank after its pressed back together.

Bent Crank?? What did I do wrong?

When I was much younger and worked at the Motorcycle shop,we use to true 2 stroke cranks after we rebuilt them.If you have the tool its very simple, but it must be a 3 piece crank.Check with your local bike shop for the 2 stroke race mech.cr's,yz's,etc.He can fix you up.

    Mini Loader

Neat looking Toy!I would question its ability to negotiate grades while loaded(traction on wet grass)and I noticed outriggers. What if you need to travel across the sloped yard(roll over) with a large green heavy log?I would go with the skidsteer unless this is VERY low in price.

    Recommend me a chain

Welcome Peter,Ditto to what Mike stated.Remember,if you run sprocket nose bars and you change from .325 to 3/8, bar change is due.I have a 62cc and run a 20" 3/8 set up and it performs good and I feel the balance is good also.

    underbid jobs

If you gave a price, honor it.Do a good job and next time this customer or someone he knows needs tree work, you should be recommended. You will have a chance to recover from your low bid.

Trade a Stihl for a Crapsman

Maybe I'm wrong but I think the old Craftsman tools that everyone favors was made in USA and the new is made by the lowest foriegn bidder. It seems much of our industry is following this practice.Truly sad.

I'm trying to picture the wife of a lawyer cranking a chainsaw to begin with?

    Spotted a "Wild Thang"!

A doctor with a chainsaw?I guess in some cases a large education alone is no match for good common sense.Maybe its me,but a doctor with a chain saw is hard to imagine.

    Point Of No Return???

Keeping the chain on the bar with severe speed could be a problem. How bout that Predator for chain speed?I think safety is a concern with the chain traveling at warp speed.Large pitch heavy chain could do some real damage .
