    Felling my 1st Big Ash

I once watched the Leaning tree fall and didn't notice the trunk had split, I took about 5 steps back, then a 2 ton log squashed me like a bug and knocked me out (No S**t). Next thing I remember was my boss waking me up. My back from my Butt crack to my neck tuned Black & Blue, Nothing broken...

Beginner questions, and good way to dry wood in a city?

I built a wood kiln this spring (look up Va Tech wood Kiln) It has a heat chamber in the top that is lined with Black Shingles, Then fans pull the heat down thru the wood. It does work, I have seen temps in the top chamber of 165* + and temps in the Bottom where the wood is stored over 110*. It...

my new to me toy :)

Even a "Fixed Position" Thumb will be 100 Handier than no thumb at all. You can still pinch stuff, whereas without it youd have to roll the bucket all the way in to pinch, Possible, But not ideal....

Huskee 35 Ton log splitter. Valve seems jammed and will not engage.

Take the Valve apart, with the cap that holds the Detents & the linkage removed the spool should slide out (may need some persuasion in your case) once out, look for burrs/trash or a bent spool..
