Too slow on the sale. Do I go for the bigger brother ?

Have never once regretted having the 066 along for the ride...I have certainly regretted not having it.

    Coming soon!

That's a pretty easy life compared to what is done with them nowadays.

    Coming soon!

Done right, CF is incredibly durable. I wouldn't expect a chain to do any more damage to CF than to mag or aluminum. CF is seeing a lot of use in downhill mountain biking frames which is a far more demanding application.

    Only in Russia

Crowd control IMO. Would be useful in a zombie attack, too. Strap the MS200's to the rear rack and you're set.

    Stihl Toy Chainsaw

Is that the Gio version? :msp_tongue: Mine is more like the one Adirondackstihl posted...my 18mo Daughter loves the thing.

Opinion- Drop Starting vs Starting On the Ground

Didn't feel you were rippin on me at all. That's what I mostly figured that it was the design of the saws that necessitated using that technique...so, what happens when the saw bucks against compression? Obviously mostly just rip the starter out of your hand, but seems on a lighter saw it...

Opinion- Drop Starting vs Starting On the Ground

Seems to me it'd be more unsafe with a shorter bar that can swing down and hit you in the foot/leg? Obviously the bar tip in the dirt isn't great, but it's better than flesh. That method creeps me out and I don't really see why anyone would use it? The only time I hold right and pull lefty is...

Opinion- Drop Starting vs Starting On the Ground

I don't find starting on the ground any easier on my shoulders and it feels like I'm ripping the AV of the saw apart on the higher comp saws. Never seen a video of a guy starting a saw on the ground while working in an area with extreme grades, either...they always seem to be able to find a...

    Signs of a bad clutch

Maybe it's just video quality or speaker quality, but it sounds way rich to me?

    Chain Break On Or Off?

What about putting em away wet? Seems like chain brake off would allow stuff to dry out a bit quicker...

Instructions on how to Embed pics in your thread. (Without having to click on them)

Actually, compared to other forums, this one sucks for pictures. I just link to photobucket instead.

Best way to carry fuel & bar oil when on foot..

That's how I roll...except when I'm ultra far from where I'm building. In those cases, I use a BOB Yak trailer hooked to my mountain bike: BOB Yak I rock the 440, ten pounds of nails, all my gas/oil, and food in it. Somehow, I don't have a pic of the setup.

Picking up my new MS460 today.

I just leave the saw running?

    shipping to Canada

Try USPS. UPS will probably ding the receiver that much in fees and duty in addition to what they charge you. thieves.

    Poor little 441...

Try driving a wedge into a sloped back cut and watch that piece break off... There was a good graphic somewhere floating about that showed why it was a no-no, but I can't find it.

Stihl MS660 bar and chain combo?

I roll a 32" ES with full comp round ground chisel and an 8pin sprocket....or a honey badger. depends how precise I need to be.

    Starts first pull everytime............Really????????

I've always wondered the same thing...and then wondered how terribly out of tune a saw must be to start on the first pull when cold. (*Mtronic/AT aside) My saws start first pull a vast majority of the time when warm, 3 pulls when cold, and sometimes take additional pulls when the temp is...

    Are Stihl Owners Brainwashed?

Husqvarna's Canuck-istan pricing is pure retardation... $800 for a 346xp...this has the effect to drive up the price of the used market as well. lots of people try to sell beat to hell 359's for over $400. I'd love a couple all orange ones in the lineup, but it's not realistic with the...
