16 yo kid inside a mill

Everything regarding the hiring of a 16 year old, or 26 year old can never be made without fully understanding the Maturity, and the reason a person wants a job. I started @ 14. Lots of "close calls." Non life threatening. They were ALL learning moments. Some people learn, other's can't. I had...

    Mushrooms

That is Nature. Not always predictable or able to be diagnosed. I learned that @ 1977. Still here. I want my dogs here with me.

    Mushrooms

Thats Funny! If I had goats out here they would be dead within 2-4 days. Then I have to worry about my dogs eating rotting goats. Coyote, Mt. Lion, and Shitheads too. My Vet was only able to give me an ambiguous answer. "Some do. Some Don't.

    Mushrooms

I don't want to use Chemicals. However, I will protect my "Girls." They are Navajo Cattle dogs, and the Wild Ones could probably live off old tires. They might. Could you please quote your source regarding Dogs eating Wild Mushroom?

Whats the easiest to learn chain sharpener

Sharpening my Chainsaw Saw's are "actually personal." I have been sharpening Saws 40+ years. I can feel it in my hand and know when to move on. In my experience if "your chain" is so Jacked Up that you need to spend hours to repair it, throw it away, make a new one and get the F back to work.

    NM Pondarosa Pine

Thank you all who read this Post. There is no issue I have regarding girdling of my trees. I contacted the State of New Mexico Wildlife Dept. two weeks ago. No response. Porcupines or Squirrell? Beetles too. I am not going to "relocate" anything. (Maybe Beetles) Climate Change, Drought in the...

That makes since. My girlfriend (20+years) feeds about 4-8 squirrels every day. The trees do not seem harmed at all. BTW, this has been going on at least 8 years. I'm not going to "interfere" at this point. Thank you.

    Beetles

I live in the Southwest of New Mexico. There are thousands of standing dead trees. Maybe even Millions. I have seen/reviewed multiple "insecticides" being advertised to stop infestations. In the 1980's California lost Monterey Pine Trees. There were a few "insecticides" that were supposed to...

City to pay $500K to man injured by flying log

I am sure that if the Treeworkers were any good they would have roped it down. Easy. Especially near pedestrians. However, while taking down a Tulip Tree I dropped a FW size piece on a brush pile and a Bread Loaf size piece of wood shot about 70 feet across a street and went right through a...
