Why not get them from the source? I bought mine from one of the Labonville stores in Maine, shipped to Canada no problem, so you shouldn't have an issue. Great service, and in stock, and they are a sponser here. Can't say the same about Bailey's. Tried to order 5 items this year from them...
There are several threads on the EZ Tach Plus here on the forum, and one has a video of it being used on a chainsaw. It's what prompted me to buy mine.
KM, I've heard that Hawaii had a huge snake problem sometime prior to WW II. Apparently they brought in mongooses which destroyed the snake population. As a result Hawaii is the only tropical place in the world with no snakes, but you have an abundance of critters such as you describe below...
I'll add my vote to the EZ-TACH Plus 328. Got mine on eBay, shipped to Canada, for around $50. Works on 2 and 4 stroke and on single or multi cylinder engines.

I've got one, just bought it two weeks ago, as a matter of fact. Check out mytractorforum.com, or tractorbynet.com. Can't remember which one, but there are pics of someone skidding out some fairly large logs with one. Mind you it's in a flat field with no obstructions.

They also have an Aviation formula that supposedly doesn't cause problems. However, there are still numerous posts, and recent, to boot, about the dangers of the stuff to the point that I won't use it.
