Anyone else had problems dealing with Enginaire?

Last Tuesday I ordered a replacement electric motor for my Cabaire system for my Fecon crawler. I also ordered a VLR filter system for it. I was told they would ship that day by the gentleman who took my order. I called yesterday morning because I had not received them (it had been 8 days and...

    Bandit 2450 grinder

The things I would like to change are 1) ditch those lower rubber flaps. 2) take the plasma arc and cut the rear steel guard behind the wheel up in the back at a 45 degree angle (it really drags in the chips) and 3) put a Revolution wheel on it.

    Bandit 2450 grinder

I have no idea why they would stop offering it. I know they offered it at one time. I demoed the Bandit today and was impressed with the performance. Not surprisingly the 44hp Kabota has waaaay more power than the 29hp Lombordini. Also it is a much smoother running engine and machine. I was...

    Bandit 2450 grinder

I talked to the factory and they said they do not offer wireless with the 4012. They do have the 44hp but it would have the same sweep as mine I would just be getting 4wd.

    Bandit 2450 grinder

Thanks for the input. Carlton doesn't offer a remote for their 44hp machine. I don't want to move into the $43k range for my limited access grinder (I have a high flow grinder for a skid loader) but I do want 4wd, wireless remote, a wider sweep and more power than I currently have. What makes...

    Bandit 2450 grinder

I'm looking at replacing my 4012 carlton grinder with a 4 wheel drive unit with wider swing and more power. Has anyone run the 2450 bandit grinder? My carlton has the 29hp lombardini w/sandavik wheel and is 2 wheel drive. I was going to get wireless remote. Tell me your opinions.

Husky 385 won't open carb all the way

It was an employee modification. :chainsaw: I'm just dealing with the aftermath. They were cutting up a large log so there is a good chance they pinched it and jerked on it. What rod are you talking about? All I see is a cable.

Husky 385 won't open carb all the way

No, it just wont cause full travel. There is just too much slack in the cable.

Husky 385 won't open carb all the way

I have a 385 that won't got to wot when you depress the throttle trigger all the way. If I depress the throttle trigger all the way I can still move the throttle cam on the carb another 20%. It's as if the cable is stretched. This is a new problem for me. What am I missing?

    Tree business without a climber?

It isn't a profession that you can find a lot of success in if your only part time. You will either miss out on a lot of money because you can't do certain jobs )or do them efficiently) or you will go broke trying to pay for the equipment you are only utilizing part time. Believe me I tried...

    Tree business without a climber?

In all seriousness I would make sure you are covered for heights over 25'. Your underwriter may think trimming is ornamentals and pruning is mature trees. Either way I would read the fine print to make sure you are well covered. I usually have these things reviewed because I am not an...
