Texas prices So, does anyone here know what pulp wood is going for by the ton here in Texas these days?

I wear blue jeans, long sleeve wrangler(denim) work shirt, steel toe steel shank leather boots, helmet, eye and ear protection and leather gloves. We don't have the standards ya'll have overseas such as "safety boots" and chainsaw protective clothing, although it is probably the safest way.

water when ya'll say water, is it brought up in bottles, camelbak, etc? I just have bottles sent up by rope periodically.

My throw-line does dangle freely. For now the only reason for me to have a container up in the tree with me, would be for pocket stuff i cant get to with a saddle on like cell phones, pocket knives, etc.

wow... it seems to me a mountain out of a mole hill. I have not had any problems yet just having my thowbag clipped to my saddle with line dangling. maybe i'm not advanced enough to have so much equipment for it to tangle in, but I manage with a climbing rope,rigging line, and throwline...

That is another good point! But, this time it could have been avoided with a little more instruction on my part, as we had previously taken off three others just like it from the same location in the tree with no adverse effects.

that sucks. well, i can buy several pair of walmart rustlers for what they want for one pair of arborwear pants. We'll just have to see how how many jeans i tear up in the coming months.
