    We have found a few dry land fish "morels" here. I think they have been up for about 2 weeks in our neck of the woods. I believe the next warm spell we have will bring lot more up.

    Found this in a local classified ad. He didn't know the model #,but said it's a stihl with a 50" bar and compression release gear reduction. He bought it to build a go cart, but never got around to it. Asking $500.00 for it. :jawdrop:

    Splitting Maul Handle

    If you can't find a store bought handle and make it work find a small hickory tree and make your own. That's the way Pa does it. Just a thought. When i replaced the handle in mine had to use one a little larger than the eye. Used my grinder with a 80 grit buffing disc to shape the the handle...

    Guess i've been a "weather nut" for a log time. That's how i've always planed my days off from work is by the forecast. Now that you brought it up maybe I'm even "Nutter" :dizzy: than i thought.

    Sounds like you have a neighbor that is classified as a "dying breed". Not to many folks like that around anymore. It's sad how most people have become these days. Most want the root of all EVIL "Money". It does my heart good to hear a story like this.

    Cutting Stove Pipe?

    I used a jig saw with a Bi-Metal blade. Find a round piece of wood from your wood pile that will fit snug inside of the pipe if it dosen't come apart. Use your drill and a bit to get a hole started for your blade. If pipe comes apart just wrap it around a larger fire log and cut away. Works for...
