    uh oh. good bye oregon?

They are very popular and are used by many people. I have used them myself, but not anymore, because of the inconsistency in the quality. I found that they would stretch more than other chains and the the quality varied a lot, which for me is a reason to stop using them. Just my experience. Geoff.

    254 crank question.

Thanks for the information. It confirms what I read that crank and cylinder have to be changed, but at least I know now that it is possible. Thanks for the offer and if i decide not to use the 262 part then I will get back to you. geoff.

    254 crank question.

Hi guys. I have a Husqvarna 254,but the crank is broken. I read somewhere that you can fit the crank and cylinder from a 262, but would like to know if anyone knows for sure if this is really possible. If it is what else would have to be changed. Geoff.

You cannot even buy a top handle saw here if you don,t have the proper papers to say you can. They are only available to people who work as climbers. That's how it is. geoff.

I took a good look at the saw this morning and after removing the coil wire and stripping back the insulation found that the cable connection was not 100%. So after fitting a new connector and reassembly the beast is back to life and...
