    Dolmar 5100 clutch drum assembly

Does one clutch drum fit different size sprockets? In other words-- will a 3/8-7 sprocket fit on a clutch drum that has a 325-7 sprocket on it. I thought the pitch might be determined by the sprocket alone and not the drum and sprocket. Thanks

    MS-250 Fuel Line Problem

Hi Fish: Today I went to pop the little sucker in there and it went completely into the tank-- rubber grommet way to small. It seems to have the correct bends in it but it is not the right one. Are there 2 grommet sizes for the MS-250 fuel tank. The shop asked me if I had an easy start model...

    MS-250 Fuel Line Problem

I want to thank you, Sagebrush, Ramrod and the others for helping me with this. I've got the carburetor off with minimal destruction:smile2: One last question-- am I suppose to lubricate the grommet before insertion into the tank -- one source says don't use oil. I guess the consideration is...

    MS-250 Fuel Line Problem

I got the fuel filter off and decided I better ask a few more questions-- the grommeted fuel line looks like it would be a bugger to remove and replace with the carb in place. How much is involved with removing the carb? It looks like (from a youtube video) that the grommet has a flat edge to...

    MS-250 Fuel Line Problem

I've never changed a fuel line on a chain saw. I have 5 saws and this is the first one to ever crack on me. Is this a complicated or simple fix? Any pointers on how to change an MS-250 fuel line is appreciated.

Wood Bunring Stove Interior Fire Bricks

The interior fire bricks in my Country Comfort Stove are starting to show signs of wear. They appear to be all different . The one with the most wear is approximately 12"x12". I'm guessing they are about and inch and a quarter thick. Can someone please tell me how to obtain fire bricks for the...

Razor sharp tips on Rollamatic sprocket

Thanks for the reply Thanks for the reply. Don't think my chain is too tight. I think it's because I cut cedar-- the bark is half dirt and sand. I'm just wondering what happens when the bar's sprocket teeth finally get too short?? Chain start to skip? Chain jumps off bar? I've never changed...

Razor sharp tips on Rollamatic sprocket

I have worn 2 Rollamatic tips down to the point where it's almost impossible to touch the sprocket teeth as they come to a fine sharp point. What will eventually happen?? Chain skip? Should I round these tips off a little. How do you know when to pull the plug on a bar sprocket? I've never...

    Finally bought me a Dolmar

I love mine I run a "large saw" and a "medium saw". All I cut is green cedar. Heavy and dirty (but I love it). In other words, I take 2 saws - either an 044 or 372 for the large and a 5110s (which I don't rotate) for the medium saw. The 5100 replaced my ms250 and I ain't lookin' back. The 250...

    Chines character problem - FIXED

You're welcome I've lived in So Utah for 15 years. One of those years was in Prescott, AZ. Hiking around, I came upon this once active landing area. Now just aging antiques. The kind of outdoor museum that's a real hoot to come upon. I'm glad you asked.
