    owb advice

    Ive had my Wood Master 4400 for 10 yrs and have had zero problems except for the dampner flapper going bad and water level guage light going out, still running on same pump, blower fan etc..I love the boiler but hate their dealer network, after it was originally installed it started leaking...

    Woodmaster 4400 fan cover(flapper)

    Anyone know someplace to get the little rubber cover for the fan motor besides Outdoorstove supplies, they want 14.33 for the part and it says 7.50 sh. until you click checkout and then they jack sh. up to 14.65.. shouldnt cost more then 5.00 to sh. it in a envelope USPS.. I will make the part...

    Yeah meant xt not xp, the dealer said its not a x-torq.. so 699.00 for the 365 saw is not really any kind of a deal?

    Thanks guys the 365 is a plain 365 not xp, dealer said it was reg. priced at 800.00, so its really retail at 699.00...will look into the 372 some more if not already sold.

    Which would you choose between the 2 the 372 is used but been gone through, new bearings gaskets etc, with 28 in bar 485.00 vs. brand new 365 w/28 in. bar for 699.00 pl. tax.. the 372 would be about 515.00 shipped, seller says it runs perfect, saw is going to be used to fell/buck occasional...

    elm believe it or not alot of guys around here dont like elm...not sure on its btu output but my boiler seems to not burn too long to get up to temp. even when its in the teens with it, may be due to the fact that the wood is so dry and doesnt have to burn off much moisture.     Here lately Ive been cutting down alot of smaller 4-16 in. dead elm trees for firewood and they burn really well, getting 18 hr. burn times from my Woodmaster 4400.. only thing is there doesnt seem to be a huge bed of coals left after they burn down like oak, and hickory leave, but its easy...

    inside If your going to pay to build a building to install your owb in just to get around the regs. you might as well just buy a gasification unit for the extra cash...I wouldnt want my 4400 inside a building that I was going to have to occupy because unless you let it burn down to coals it...

    anyone know what outdoor boilers are legal to buy and burn in Indiana now, looking for specific models etc... Ive got a Woodmaster 4400 now going on 5 years but for the future in case it goes belly up, hopefully not for a long time...are the 4400`s one of the OWB`s that are legal to burn?

    stove Went outside about 20 min. after posting the question and it started working by itself, go figure... seems to be working fine now... will lube everything though... thanks for the help.

    Got up this morning to go to work and temp. ga. read 210, didnt have time to mess with it but checked wood in stove and it was about gone so figured it would cool down.... called home a couple hrs after I left and its still at 204.... came back home and figured out the flapper on the airintake...
