Can anyone suggest an appropriate substitute that will work on Dolmar 133 besides "yes"?

Is there an ignition that can be substituted for Dolmar 133?

That sounds right to me. I got hold of a junk rebranded model like the OP's a few years ago and used flywheel to replace bad one on Dolmar 133.

Those are good little saws for the time they were made. I still have the original one I bought from Lowe's about 30 years ago. Still runs. No, they're not built like a S25 but they do well for the time they were produced and the price range they sold in, and they're easy to work on. Sounds like...

    1800 & 2000 are the same except for displacement. 1800=1.8 cu.in., 2000=2.0 cu.in.

They are great little saws for their size. I've got one I've had for over 30 yrs. Still runs. BTW, this thread is so old that some of the original posters may not be subscribed to it anymore.

Halifax County Va. Antique Machinery and Heritage Festival 2013

Folks who run the show are usually good about finding us some nice wood. Have been for the last 4 years. Dean sees to that. He spends a lot of energy making this a great venue for the festival and for those of us who attend. It often turns into a gtg with many AS members participating. Spread...

I plan to be there. I hope the word gets out. It's hard to say how many people who will get a notification through this thread since this site has been so messed up this year. Dean asked me to post the notice, BTW.

Bob, what you have there is the metering body. There should be a piece of sponge filter material inside the cavity. Looks like a small doughnut about an inch in diameter. I've made them out of air filter material before. The other end of the oil line goes through the small hole in the body at...

Sounds to me like you may want to practice "parachute landing falls", which is where you sort of roll on your side making contact with the "meaty" parts along your back as you hit the ground. However I am more likely in the group that does a "parachute fall landing." :msp_scared:
