    Chimney Cleaning?

First time I have cleaned my chimney by myself. Bought the brush and rods and just finished, not bad. Lot cheaper than having a professional do it every year. I have about 120.00 invested in brush and rods. They just paid for themselves. About 175.00 for a chimney sweeper to do it here. Here's...

    Poulan Pro 335

The first saw that I ever bought was a 335 pro. The year was 1989. In my opinion very good saw. Mind does not have a chain brake, did not come with one then. I used this saw hard til about two years ago. Never any problems. This year had new gas lines put on because old ones started cracking and...

    441 or 460

441 Our company has begun to make the switch over from 460's to 441's. Very good saw just alot of negatives on the board about the 441. People don't like change seems like.

The Ms441 just came in today.

441 I have had one for about 1 month now. Very nice saw. Smooth in the cut. Lot's of power. I also have a 361. Love them both. I run rsc chains. I can only compare the 441 against my Husky 385xp, it is not as powerful but then it is not in the 80cc range neither. I use a 460 at work at times...

    8 pin sprocket for 361 ?

I might try a change from the stock to 8 pin sprocket. I run a 18" bar on the 361. Will my drive links still be the same as on the 7 tooth? And will I see a difference in the speed of the cut in hard wood. Thanks Rick

Should I buy now or wait-460 Stihl?

Thanks for all the reply's so far. I am still undecided but maybe a 440 would be better than a 460. I really like what Burvol had to say, the next size saw down from the 385 I have run is the 361. Wish it had more power so maybe a 440 might be the way to go. It has to be a CAD THING!!! Thanks...

Should I buy now or wait-460 Stihl?

Thinking seriously on buying the 460. I have been reading on here that Stihl won't be selling this in the future because of EPA Regulations. That is why I might pull the trigger NOW. Is there any reason that I should wait to see what comes out maybe soon in the future. I have a saw in this power...

    New 346xp Husqvarna

Just picked up my new 346xp from my dealer this morning. NICE LITTLE SAW! It is the e-tech with the cat muffler, You gentlemen that have these saws say to change muffler over to non-cat. What difference will I notice if I change over. Really wondering if I need to do that and if I do, do I need...

    Husqvarna XP 2-Stroke Professional Oil

Is there any difference in this new oil and the xp premium oil? I know that the old xp premium was better oil than the low smoke 2 cycle. Now is the newest synthectic oil better than the old xp premium oil. I know that the new oil is synthectic and don't know if my old xp premium is or not. I...

I have decided on a new ne346xp Husky, now which size bar

ne346xp I will go with the 16" bar for sure, just undecided on changing over to 3/8". I like the bigger chain because of those big chips flying, just seems faster. But because of limbing and small bucking maybe I will just stay with the 325 chain. STILL UNDECIDED. I can't see where it would be...

I have decided on a new ne346xp Husky, now which size bar

I have decided on the ne346xp Husky. I am going against my cousin's good deal on a 5100s Dolmar. Mostly because I have two Husky's already and all of your feedback on the 346. Now the question is: I want to run a 3/8 chain, what size sprocket to replace the 325 sprocket, how many teeth on it...

Maximum Size Bar for Husky 385 xp

Hello, this is my first post here. Great forum. I have a 24" bar that I am using and want to know what size the 385 can handle. The owners manuel says 28" max I think. I have heard this saw can go bigger than that. What are you gentlemen using? How does this saw match up with Stihl 460 and the...
