031 Hello,the clyinder was off when I did this,and I thought about grinding a little off bottom ,but I shouldn't have to and thought that might cause it to be out of balance ??Any ways I sent it back so where can I get one that will work ?

Help!!,I need a piston for 031 AV,I got one on E-bay (new) (Golf brand) when I put it on with cylinder off and turned crank it hits and wont go 360 degrees around, put old on and no problem, sent it back after calling vendor ( who says he's sold hundreds and never had a problem ),he says it...

Up date: left atom module in didn't have to reverse wires ,reason for fuel leaking out not carb ( carb was rebuilt and all gas and impulse lines new ) bottom piston ring weak letting fuel past it ,wasn't going to help by tightining gap on plug and trying to get a hotter spark (somehow) to burn...

Had basicly same problem with my 031 ,changed to a atom module ( but I didnt reverse wires and ran great ) it would bog at fast speeds and idled rough ,couldnt adjust carb and carb was rebuilt ...so honed it put in new rings ...problem solved runs great ...bottom ring is for fuel and fuel was...
