Lookout, the BLUE MAX is here!

Ha! I thought that would get you all on the keyboards! A blue Max is made in china. Not Solo powered. You would all crap if you knew how much of your saws parts are made there! Stir Stir!

    Oil settling issue

Sounds reasonable To me I think you may be right

    Oil settling issue

Oil settles to bottom I notice before mixed that oil goes to the bottom of the can. Stands to reason that if it separates after mixed that the saw would get too much oil when first started as the fuel line draws off of the bottom. I have never had it separate under any condition myself.

    Bluegrass chainsaws

More Bluegrass pics Look at these compared to the Remington pics. My bar even is a Remington bar. I am also tickled to see that it is related to Mall saws. I think I heard that Remington bought out Mall.

    Bluegrass chainsaws

Bluegrass, I have had dozens of Barker and Mono saws. I don't think this is a Power Products engine. Belknap built these saws and I have not determined the maker of the engine.

    Old Macs, rings

I just came in from getting an old Mac 15 back on its feet and after running it I desided to look in the exaust at the piston to see what shape it is in. It looks good and has good feeling comp but when I move the piston up and down while watching, the rings have a little up and down movement in...

    mcculloch pro over price

No wonder! That is larger than I thought. It is light for that size of a saw even in todays standards. It runs strong! I also wondered how much advantage a super 250 has over a reg 250?

Mac I have a 2-10 that had that crap carb that I just put a 10-10 top and carb on and it really made a great saw out of it. Wondered how the 2-10 compared size wise to the 10-10. This 2-10 is in great shape and I would guess that it is because it would never run long enough to wear out with...

Mac 15, Common? Were these any good and were they plentiful and common? The old 795 next to it sure has some kick! Got the 795, 15 and 250 and a super 250 at the same place tonight. The 795 has a 36" bar. All have great comp and the 795 runs great! Has a hell of a tone! I guess the 795 has the...
