:msp_biggrin: 56f here right now. supposed to cool down a bit for a few days but mainly mid 50's. Which is warm enough for working outside pouring MUD.
Glad to read your ok. It doesnt take long to do this, a blink of an eye, not concentrating. I have a pair also. I dont wear them all the time. Lazyness, I know. Defiantly will after seeing this.
Thanks for opening my eyes. we all get complacent over time. Think it wont happen to us.
I use #2 cans as thats what my Vp fuel comes in. Flame me for buying $3 a qt fuel, thats fine. I like the smell and the performance I get, along with the 2 year shelf life and NO ethanol.
Looks like the hard maple we have in northern wi. Cut alot of it for my father. Good stuff. Wont last as long as oak or hickory but a good burnable wood that burns hot and clean.
No but I do get depressed if I can't get out into the woods for a few days a week. This coming storm is going to suck..I don't need this snow. got lots of wood to cut and a trans to put into a explorer. Good thing I got it in the garage yesterday.
I normally go through my wood shed by mid march. Well it's empty. Hold 4 cords. Good thing I got some wood from a neighbor last fall. It's a tad damp, but dries out fairly quick.
So in the end I may go through 6-7 cords this year.
Beats turning out the gas furnace!
I had a few squirrels do that to my gas cans I left at the farm in the barn. Bastards. I am now trying to switch over to steel cans. Trying to locate some empty/used race gas cans from klotz or vp race fuels. If not I may buy a 5 gallon can of Sef from baileys.
My brother runs echo chainsaws. He's never had to use the warranty. I use. A echo weed eater, never had to use the warranty either. Good quality equipment, at a decent price.
I use RSK exclusively on he bigger saws and rm3 on y smaller saws. Have used Oregon chains before only cause that's all they had and I needed the chain now.
