    wouldnt grinding a little off the cases help flow.... next time i have my 046bb apart, ill have to look at that area.... good work brad.... ps if you dont like the trolls stop responding theyll get sick of posting after a while.

    its time for a new bench in my garage, mine is too little. i picked up a top already. its a piece of bowling alley floor 42" wide by 12 feet long ( couldnt pass it up for 120.00$ ) gonna cut it down to 36" x 11 feet, and would like to see some of what you guy use for benches. thanx in advance...

    i going to try another 066 piston this time leave more above the ring... .090" just wasnt enough... i never degreed the jug.... maybe the ring hung up in the exhaust port???? the porting was a little wide for the 066 piston if memory serves.... :bang:

    goodmornin' all. here the situation, my fils 670 champ blew a big end rod bearing and needles went up the transfer..... P/C shot. thats ok this is his third champ and hes got parts. tear it down, find a good crank, good P/C, wash it all up and reassemble... no biggie right..... the thing wont...

    Getting into a used 046

    Just checked the spec on baileys site, looks like a 1.5mm difference in compression height, that make for a .060" pop up, with out milling the jug.... Hummm been looking for an 044 to convert... Now looking even harder....
