Steve, Thanks. I looked at a few other X170 clips and they did not have the artifacts in your video. I suspect those artifacts were caused by Windows Movie Maker and/or the conversion from WMV to youtube.

That might explain the slight blurryness in the video (e.g. MP4 -> WMV ->MP4) can you post an unedited short clip?

What video format did you record at MP4 or MJPEG? Also did you convert it to WMV before uploading (The filename implies that)?

Thanks for the information. Most of the ash here dies off about 5 years ago, we have been treating this one about that long. It's a nice tree and I would hate to loose it, hence the reason for the question.
