Those of you who think the MS362 is too heavy.....

I have to argue that, a little bit. It might be slightly heavier on paper, but in reality you can't tell the difference. Performance wise, it wasn't fair. His 361 is really beat, so of course my saw seemed alot smoother and tighter. I'll report back when I have that many hours on it. It did...

Those of you who think the MS362 is too heavy.....

......need to build some muscle and not be such pussies.:lifter: I got back from using mine for 8hrs and it's far from heavy. Heck, I even got to try a 361 for a bit and couldn't tell a weight difference, both with 20" bars.

    Gas cans!

Oohh You have a 1st generation enviro-can. Yeah those were a real pain in the ass. The new ones with a thumb lever aren't as bad. After you rip out the locking tab.

Very nice. I almost bought one. Actually had it in my hands, until the salesman told me the price, then I quickly put it down:msp_sad: Keep us posted on how you like it.

What's the best backpack blower on the market?

Why don't you like the 4 mix? You of all people shouldn't be concerned lol. I don't know what kind of Kawasaki dealer you have, but I've heard their new OPE is supposed to be the witch's tits. There's not one near me or I'd me snooping around them too.

    Stihl Ultra HP Synthetic

I'm confused too.:msp_huh: If the price tag says $31.99, why would you pay $50?? This is just bad business practice.:msp_huh:

4 stroke chainsaw is it in the future?

Damn you've got me beat all the way around. I just like having a good discussion about engines and things like we all do. Ouch Well, I really think that it will be quite a few years away yet (if ever) or the EPA outlaws 2 strokes all together. Alot of my discussion came from my...

4 stroke chainsaw is it in the future?

Why not? I have a few opinions on your post: Don't worry. They'll get lighter. This is irrelevant. Folks were afraid of fuel injected cars 20yrs ago. Can't argue this. In about 10-15yrs someone's going to build a 50-60cc 4 stroke saw that turns 11k rpm reliably. The 2 stroke is a...

4 stroke chainsaw is it in the future?

What info do you have on this? I was under the impression that the 4 mix was the future of Stihl. Ahh the memories. I remember all the nay sayers that pissed on Yamaha in 2001 for building a competitive 4 stroke MX bike. Look where they are now. A 4 stroke is definately in chainsaws...

    MS 361 vs MS 362

See what I mean? http://www.arboristsite.com/chainsaw/165990.htm Last year people wouldn't shut up about how great the MS361 was. Now that Stihl comes out with the 362, they say that a 60cc saw is a waste of money! WTF? Which is it? It kinda rubs me the wrong way to read posts like ths.

There doesn't seem to be near the love for it as there was for the 361 :(

The best 2 cycle chainsaw oil

I like the pre-measured bottles of OPE oil. Just pour it in a gallon of gas and go. No need to carry a Ratio Rite cup when you go cutting. Just one less thing to mess with. IMHO.

    Firewood Truck Be Gone

1 or 1.5 ton????? He's looking to haul some firewood not take the whole forest with him. LOL Stick shift is so 1970's big rig. The new HD autos from Ford and Chevy is where it's at these days. They can handle heavy loads and have excellent road manners too. Don't take me too...

    Firewood Truck Be Gone

I think you mean 3,000 and 9,000lbs gross. 2 cords cut and split isn't anywhere close to 9k. These new generation 1/2 tons are tow rated higher than 3/4's were only 20yrs ago. They can handle a dump trailer with 2 cords day in and day out with nary a sweat. Yeah you'll burn gas, but you...

We all knew it was coming. Stihl MS 441C-M-Tronic

Is this really necessary on a chainsaw? I mean, c'mon, enough is enough already. This is logging not Formula 1 racing. I can't wait to see the price tag on one of these mother####ers:rolleyes:
