    Echo Oiler Adjuster Screw

I purchased an Echo cs440 about 6 years ago and like you I broke off one side of the oiler adjust screw. It's wide open and it goes thru a lot of oil but I don't worry if it's getting enough. maybe someday I'll tear it down and replace the oiler, but for now I'll leave it alone. By the way that...

    I feel lonly.

I sold my J-red 2055 yesterday and this morn. I feel as tho I made a big mistake. :(The compression was high making it hard to start for me and the stepson said he could handle it. Oh well I've wanted a 2153 so now I have the excuse I needed to actively search :msp_biggrin:

The 455 rancher is the biggest P O S I have worked on. While the 55 (not rancher) that I had was a very well made saw and easy to maintain.

    Big box store 70cc

The 2155 is the husky 455 in red, the 455r is by far the worst saw I've ever worked on except the mac eager beaver that I ended up throwing in the junk pile.

    Echo CS440 ?

I bought a cs440 new about 6 years ago and did a mild muff mod on it and tuned it by ear and it's turned out to be one fine saw! It's the saw that rides in the atv for trail clearing and occasionial firewood saw. Don't listen to most of the guys on this site when they try to tell you that an...

Jonsered 2055 with toooo much compression

My j-red 2055 that I put a new piston in over two years ago and have cut a lot of firewood with still has way too much compression to start easily, great for running but extremly hard for a 71 year old(me)to start. would I be able to install a decomp valve in it without damaging the jug?
