if i had to choose just one saw i would take my 272xp I've had it since new in 1997 it's been reliable as a anvil 20" and 30" bars :greenchainsaw:

i have a 16" Oregon bar and chain 3/8s (56 link low profile chain) on my pp330 , i got the blade and chain when i got the saw a TS i like the set up seems to work very well , :clap:

any one know the specs on this motor all i can find is that it's 54 cc. and that the max rpm is 13,800 the poulan web site doesn't have anything , a buddy just used the 330 today he runs a Shindaiwa 488 it's a 47.9 cc rated at 3.5 hp it has a 18"bar w/.325 chain , when he brought the 330 (16"...

when i got the saw i picked up a 16" bar and chain with it , i thought that the 22" bar was way to big for this saw .. the 22' bar & chain is still new in the bag , the chain is a 3/8 low profile Oregon , again i got this combo thinking the saw would be under powered and could use all the help...

I'm just curious if any one has run there 330 with any other saw's in it class ? my cutting partner as was i , was very surprised when , we where cutting on the same tree , we realized that the 330 was a little faster than his 260 , this may not have been the best comparison , the 260 has a 18"...

Hi all i just picked up a 330 at T.S. i put a 16" bar on it , i was very surprised at the performance i ran it all day cutting maple with no problems at all , i don't think i would be very happy with the 22" bar but the 16" sweet

what works gloves does every one use ? I've been using mec. gloves from auto zone and I've used all leather gloves but i still take the finger tips out after loading up a couple loads of wood ,
