    Together and working.

UWB is back up and running. I forght me every step of the way but I won. Getting the pipe out of the cast flange was real battle. Took out the 1" nipple and put in a 5". Also while I was at it I wired in a light so I can see what I'm doing when feeding it. The old light was above the...

    Pex shrinks

There is a major flaw in your math or assumptions. The increase in amperage is 3 total is 13, or 4 times. That would mean it costs $936.00 a year to run the pump to circulate the water. My total electric bill for the year does not come to that.

    Pex shrinks

I don't know that inhibitor was in the system. Looking at the pump I would say not. I did not hook up the system but I will take the blame and pay the price. The more I think about it I wonder if the ground settling may have had more to do with moving the Pex. When unhooking the pump it...

More amperage is more power. Lower stress on the motor and a longer life.

    Pex shrinks

Pulled the pump off my OWB and that sucker was rusted to crap. What cheap so and so put a cast iron pump on a circuit that uses water and is vented to atmosphere? Some body advised me that if was a Taco pump to get a Bell & Gossett. (Thanks rx7145) And that was the case. The first look at the...

What are your COLD weather gloves?

Welding gloves for handling wood, or filling the stove. If it gets real cold I put jersey gloves on under them. I have thinsulate gloves when running the saw, but they will not hold up to wood handling.

    Bad news

Have not had a chance to open it up yet. I am getting some good places to start. Cannot hear the pump running but I don't ever remember hearing it.

    ##### session

Further info: the old mix never affected me. Someone said they liked the new so I thought I'd try it - back to the old as soon as I get this 2.5 gallons burnt up. As to the saw I think its this new environmental crap. My 028 cut better before I ran over it:censored: Have to fix that. Still...

    E-bay 028WB

Got itthis week. Reported no spark. Going to put in a new plug and gas and see where it is. Troubling issue is it came with the owners manual (not the troubling part) on the outside cover is written 1:25 mix I always use 1:50. Did they hurt the saw if they used 1;25?
