Carlton 7015 with wireless remote and sandvik wheel. Should grind as quick as your tow behind, but you can get it through a 36in gate. You might keep your rayco though, kinda a pain to take off the rear duals for a little stump.

Depending on how large of wood that you will be cutting on a regular basis. I have a 2186 w/32 inch bar, and it cuts great. The smaller 2171 is great as well as the 2156and down to the 2152 for a 16 inch bar. My favorite is the 2165 with 20 inch bar.

A 1972 boom is awfully old. Most are retired long before that. I would look for a new boom or newer truck with a boom already on it. Also the the boom would be worth nowhere near the $3 to $4k to remount it.

Prentice 120E seems to be the easiest.

I would guess that you meant 1984 for the year of the truck. That is 22 years old. That means that the truck, or at least the boom should have been retired some time back. You should look at it as a chip truck. So for that age it might be worth $3-4,000 max.

Eye bolts do not open If you where using eye bolts that where made to hold a tree together, then they will not open. Why with so much liability at stake would someone use some low grade 3200 lb eye bolts. What did you also use air craft cable with clamps. Man you should not be cabling any...

Arborwear makes a nice one that i love to wear. They have a extra bog hood with snaps that will fit over a hard hat with no problem, very warm, but I think this year they around $80.
