    Husky oil problem?

You would have to take the clutch off and check the oil pump drive gear. If the saw has been hung up and jerked on the oiler line could have been pulled off the fitting where it goes into the oil pump. You can fish the oil line out of the tank and blow through it and listen for air comming out...

    Something wrong with my 340

Look where the oil comes out to the guide bar pad. There is a small foam filter there take it out and it will cure your problem.

    Husky question

Those saws have a two stage limiter cap and you can pull it up enough for it to free the adjusting screw and go down through the middle of the limiter cap and adjust the carb. You can them push the caps back on without taking them off. Echo makes a tool to take the limiter caps off the CS-3000...

    Labor rates

It's kinda like the guy that ask me what I thought of the Stihl chainsaw. I said they were ok but they looked like a drunk plummer designed them. Boy did he get upset. 150 and S-2 Homelites are a piece of cake. 029, 039 ane the 009 and it's counter parts are the worst saw for the money on the...

    best all around chainsaw

You need two saws for what you are talking about. Althought I know a guy who used a 3120 for limbing. He burnt one up like that and bought a 55 Rancher to limb with while I fixed the 3120. I would opt for the 384 or 395 for milling and a 357 for limbing. Later Butch

    Worst saw ever built?

What a bunch of wimps you guys complain about those saws. The 150 was a piece of cake and the 330 was a decent Harry Homeowner saw. You never lived until you worked on the McCullouch mini Mac 6 You had to take the engine out of the case just to fix the cranker.

    Topping chain saw

It's funny but we sell a lot of the Husqvarna saws with very few problems. We just sold three or four to the same outfit that has been running the 335XPT and the CS-340 Echo. Their guys like the Husqvarna better. The Echo is the best bang for the buck they just take a licking and keep on...

    325 or 3/8 on a MS 260?

Stick with the .325 chain it's the best fit for the saw.

    Stihl 025

It is the best consumer saw Stihl has in it's lineup. If I had to buy a Stihl consumer saw it would be my choice. And evryone here know I don't like the Stihl line.

Wrong you have a piece of trash holding the reed valve open. Take the carb off and the reed plate and get the piece of trash out, reinstall and adjust carb. and you're good to go. Later Butch

    Recommendations for small(ish) saw

CS-345 Echo is the best bang for the buck. We sell them to arborist and they just keep on running like the enigizer bunny. Worse thing that happens to them is they bust them up. Later Butch

    Outboard clutch removal

I have used an impact on them for over 28 years and not had a problem yet. Just don't use the piston stop when using the impact. The only time I ever had a problem was when I decided to us a piston stop tool and a pull handle on an 021 Stihl shoved the piston stop right through the top of the...

    echo 351EV

One of the best little saw ever built though a litlle heavy by todays standards. Carb is a little tricky to get on and off. Fuel and oil lines are prone to detoriate other than that a good little saw. 35.2 cc/2.148 cid wieght 11.2 #. I use to own one and loved it. Some parts may not be...

solution for stripped top cover screws?

I would heli-coil the stripped out holes. Takes a special tool kit and insert to install a stainless steel thread insert to repair the threads. I use them all the time to fix such problems.

    Homelite 360 help

Take the carb. off the, bottom handle brace, the two screws that hold the intake flange off and the four isolator mount bolts. The saw will slide apart, watch the oiler line you will have to disconnect it. Be careful when you take the garter spring off the boot not to distort it as you may not...
