Where do I need to be on this to move it? I loaned a coworker $1000 and he gave me the saw as collateral. He is unable to pay the money back and told me to keep the saw or sell it. I hate to give up a bunch but need my money back more than this saw. I try to help good folks when I can but...

Run it!!! With an 18" bar it will be whistling through any wood you put it to. You could open up the muffler and retune but wont see any difference with that bar set up.

I bought the last one Alex had for sale and all I can say is WOW!!!!! What a well built machine. You need three men to keep up once you learn how to efficiently run the 4-way. Quality beyond belief. Great guy to deal with and a product unmatched in quality and performance.

I have two of the old craftsman grinders, 1 12 volt and 1 110 ac. Stone wear can be a deterrent but I have found the diamond stones hold up well. I mainly use them on chains that have hit metal and or rocks. These grinders are metal and very good quality.

+1 on the spot welds. Very small and right where the stud contacts the thickness of the tank wall. may have to file them a bit, but they will bite into the softer case and stay in place.
