Diff between inboard and outboard clutch?

I am not saying that clutch configuration is not a legitimate issue for others, but it does not come into my consideration when selecting a saw. And if it did, it would rank below reliability, durability, power-to-weight, handling, air filtration, commonality with existing inventory, dealer...

    got me seeing "J" red

The 920 had very impressive low-end grunt. If I recall correctly, the similar 930 Super was tuned for a bit more breathing room on the top end. Nice find.

    What is your "crown jewel"

Thanks, Constantine. But the feeling of regret after selling a mint 262XP is one I never want to experience. :bang: :)

Nice 031AV Joe. Looks to be in excellent shape.

    What is your "crown jewel"

A few more. The professional saws from roughly 1980 to 2000 personally appeal to me the most.

    What is your "crown jewel"

These aren't my best, but they are a few of my favorites that I actually have images of. They have only been fired at the factory.

    Parrotia persica

Parrotia persica is a beautiful tree. Fall color is spectacular, like a big Fothergilla, but even more vivid. Plant it in well-drained soil, it will not tolerate compacted conditions. Starts out as an upright oval shape, but matures with strong horizontal structure. One particular specimen that...

    Bar Oil ?

Used motor oil is a carginogen. It's toxic. It stinks. I do not want it flung on my skin. I do not want it ruining my chaps and gloves. As mentioned, even though oils made for diesels have greater base additives like Ca and Mg (TBN) to control the acidity or combusted/partially combusted...

371XP with a side of fries

Come on now - that high top filter is like the raised hood intake on a classic American 1960's muscle car with twin 4 barrel carbs! (Except the Husky is more reliable :D )

371XP with a side of fries

A storm-damaged Red Oak goes on the firewood pile with the help of a soon-to-be classic Husky.

Another shot of my Castine, as it relates to the fireplace. Just enough protrusion forward to throw heat, show off its casting work, but not get in the way.

Are these good woods to burn?

Butternut (Juglans cinerea) is also known as White Walnut. It is a poor-to-fair firewood, with a BTU/cord rating equal to Eastern White Pine, Spruce, Willow. I'd pass...

CharlieG, The Castine has a Ventinox stainless RVK-6 oval rear vent kit. It goes up something like 5', into the flue tiles. That fireplace has its flue straight up and centered. The little Nordic has a 6" round stainless elbow into 10' of heavy stainless 6" round pipe. The install was a...

TreeCo, don't you appreciate the JØTUL ash clean-out system? What a great feature. Does your 3CB have it? I also have a smaller JØTUL, the Nordic F100 QT, which does not have the ash clean-out. BUT, I bought it anyway since it has one of the best fire views of any stove of its small size.
