    unknown seal

I came across these 2 seals in a sealed baggie in my seal box. the printed label on the baggie has faded over time but I can "maybe" make out "20010 212". at one time i wrote the seal dimensions on the label. they are: outer - 1.094", inner - 0.518", width - 0.24". i have googled the 20010 212...

Just found a chicago elec chainsaw sharpener at flea market. Model 93213. This is the one preceding the cable controlled handle The wheel on it looks to be in fairly good shape but I'd like to have a backup. This one has a pink wheel with a 7/8" arbor. Have always hand filed but as many of you...

    MS 310

Tried to start my MS 310 in prep for selling it and it wouldn’t stay running. I’d prime it and it would start but wouldn’t continue. Fresh fuel, new filter, cleaned carb, checked impulse and fuel lines but no indication of leaks. Surely I’m missing something but what?

    Poulan 2000 issue

So I have an issue I’ve never encountered. Parts of the symptoms I have but not as this is encountered Compression is 100 psi. White death

Getting my xl2 up and going. Combined 2 into 1. Minor problem is there is a very little white death on it. I wire brushed using my drill and was able to expose “clean” magnesium. Because of this I want to paint the saw. Before that happens I need to do a little body work on the former white...

    Intra model parts swap

have a craftsman 3700 in which the coil is weak. Been seeing coils online for anywhere from 25 - 60 dollars. Was stealing parts from a parts poulan 3416 and noticed a striking similarity between the two coils. I said to myself, “hmmm, wonder if that would work on the 3700?” Bottom line is that...

    Frankinoly

One if the frankinolys i built resists tuning. Replaced seals. Still resists. On the premise that its sucking air i took the jug off. So its either the gasketless joint between jug and case or its a leak between the carb header block and the jug. When rebuilt i deleted gasket. Done that on...
