    So will you run a dehumidifier in there or whats the plan for it? How long do you expect a load of wood to dry, 30,60 days ect?

    Walnut top 1 1/2" and 100+yr old pine from and old barn for the base. 5x5" legs. It's all clear coated but I am going to sand the top down some and hit it with more clear.

    dolmar 6400/7900 big bore kits. how are they holding up?

    I put the 84cc BB kit on my 6401 and have not had one problem with it, I put my BB on 3+yrs ago and still going strong. Starts every time and obviously a large performance gain for $110 and a few hrs time. Not an oem kit but I have no reason to bash it or go oem instead of the bb kit

    Nice work! Seeing all the milling really makes me want to get set up for some cant/beams that I can make and use. Is that a normal chain you used or a ripping chain? And here I sit wanting 1 ~30hp tractor and you have 2!:msp_angry: lol, they look nice too

    Just found this thread. Looks like fun, err work Rob! I would like to have that setup some day. Quite nice. Sure is nice not to have to buy lumber huh!

    Wow Brad, glad your ok after that! I bet your had a worse feeling about the whole thing after watching the video of what happened. Scary . good reminder for all, thanks for sharing .

    Sycamore and white oak with the 880.

    That quartersawn looks awesome! Almost looks like a digital print, I have used some 8/4 spalted sycamore before and I think it cleans up and clear stain/seals really nice.

    That is a great looking set up!!:msp_thumbsup: Is that an old corn husk elevator or hay? And that truck is in beautiful shape, diesel? Too bad most of them that age around here have rust on em.

    Great, now I need a lathe. :mad: lol Yup! Split very nice, wish I would have milled it though.

    Do you have any more pics of this project? Looks great, time well spent in my opinion! I am going to do a timber frame at some point and just trying to get some schooling :smile2:
