    i shoulda wrote more. um it still idles ruff and slow even when the idle is set just slightly before the chain starts to turn. so i should fatten up the Low screw then?

    is it just me or do the cheaper husqys idle ruff? my husky 435 sounds verry ruff and jumpy when idling( jumpy as in it makes a clunk cu clunkklunk cu clunk cu cu clunk noise). isn't it supposed to idle smoothly like all the rest of my saws?

    i was allways under the impression that even a flip line adjuster had to be life support rated. idk why the CMI is a (16kn). isn't that unsafe?

    it will be used on my dirty tree setup for those really sappy tree's and as a second flipline adjuster becuase i like to use 2 flips and a climb line when working down a spar.

    i once turned down a 60 foot hawaiian keawe tree removal becuase it was too close to the power lines and had a big crack right down the center of the trunk. better to have a crane for that job.

    :agree2: you wouldn't climb a tree without your lanyard right? 2 tie in points when working aloft with a chainsaw, so why not a rope in the tree for added security????

    i think the timber hitch is a little finicky. id either locks up too tight and is a pain to untie especially after dynamic loading. i need t start using something like that knot above. it looks like it will work good for a pulley too.
