    First saw i remember was my dads jonsered 670 champ half wrap with a west coast k&n air filter and 18'' bar that was a beast of a saw til he gave it to his coworker i still see it once and a while

    digging around the shop i found an old 1997 model jonsered 2065 yes thats correct a 97 on the plate with a cracked case and a good piston and cylinder. the new plan is put the jug and piston from that saw on the husky also i noticed the starter cover needs replacing so i plan to use a jonsered...

    the carb from the 365 is in one of the three other specials we have all working just fine. the only down side is that i have to put a 16'' bar on this beast wish i could use an 18'' but they wont let us

    yeah i did notice that i lined a 2065 to my 2172 and there looks like an inch difference maybe the larger top handle from the x-torq might have to be in order i think the mounting holes from a 372xpxt could line up unless the cran kcase is different

    my dealer does not stock those bars i wish he did. the rep who had to bring the saw to the shop had a bar but it was the 8.2mm motor mount for a 2159

    I am planning to port my 2065 work saw and need some help. exactly what do i do to woods port a saw i understand the muffler mods but what am i doing to the piston and jug. is this worth doing or should i just buy the big bore kit from Bailey's.:msp_confused:

    My 028 wood boss just burned up don't know why. It had fresh gas from the day before with good mix so i can rule out a gas issue . like i said dont know how it happened. I may just as well give up on this saw as it is 25 years old any ideas?
