6 mo old ms170 will not start

Have you checked the spark arrestor screen? Had a 180 that wouldn’t run due to a clogged screen.

    Sold WTS Timberline sharpener

Timberline sharpener for sale. Comes with two 7/32 carbide cutters and an extra set of guides to do 25 and 35 degree angles if wanted. Does 30 degrees with the set currently in it. Once you figure these out they are great sharpeners and IMO worth the money. This is from my grandpas estate and...

    Uneven wear on trailer tires

Would not surprise me one bit if the tire had a broken belt or some other type of internal failure thats not visible from the outside. You can see cracking in the groove on the outside of the tread. Also I’ve had bias ply boat trailer tires wear really weird like that. Once they start a weird...

    Husqvarna 350

To be honest it’s a little up there in price. It’s a nice saw for sure.

They’re a dime a dozen. Tons of them out there. It’s kinda a bastard saw. Too much plastic for most serious cutters and they had some major flaws like the muffler. Love mine though. 346 top end and muffler mod make them a dandy tag along saw.

    Sold Husqvarna 357XP

I wouldn’t disagree with that and that’s part of the reason I’m removing it from being sold. I started a thread about using rifle bore cameras on the workbench. I put the camera in this saw last night and saw some stuff that concerns me so I’m going to pull the cylinder and look with my eyes...

    Sold Husqvarna 357XP

Pulling this for now. Saw something on the cylinder wall I don’t like and want to be 100% sure it’s all good before sending it to anyone.

Teslong Bore Camera on the workbench?

Port, decomp and top of piston pics. All these were done from the spark plug hole with the cylinder still on the saw. Also these are pictures of my laptop screen so actual images are a hair clearer. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Teslong Bore Camera on the workbench?

Anybody using these in their shop on saws? I purchased one a while back to use for its intended purposes on rifle barrels but I pulled it out the other night to use it on the saws just for fun. These things take some great images for a $50 camera. I would think they'd be handy for all kinds...

I’m looking for a chain grinder too. Silvey, Oregon, Tecomec etc. I’d be happy to make a partial trade with someone if you have one sitting around or want to make a deal.

    Husqvarna 440

I’d be looking deeper at what caused that. Crank issues? Bearing problems?

    Sold Husqvarna 357XP

I have no idea why it needed a new piston. I bought the saw here. It was originally posted on 3/3/14. It was said to have had a new meteor piston in the original ad. When I received it I took the top end off and it had a Golf piston and I contacted the seller for resolution. He refunded me the...
